JSTI Group and the National Engineering Research Center for New Road Materials (led by JSTI Group) are dedicated to developing pavement construction techniques and intelligent quality control solutions for asphalt pavement construction. Their expertise has led to five world-leading technological breakthroughs that have been widely promoted and applied in 13 provinces in China. They also contributed to the compilation of one group standard of the China Highway and Transportation Society.
Nanjing Jiaoke Digital Intelligence Technology Development Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of JSTI Group, independently developed iPave3.0, an intelligent dynamic quality management system (equipment) for asphalt pavement construction. Based on the Internet of Things, the system leverages various sensing and positioning devices to monitor, analyze, and report in real time the key data generated during pavement construction. Integrating hardware and software, iPave3.0 features "one set of equipment + one platform launched on multiple terminals" that enables intelligent, real-time monitoring and management across the entire process of pavement construction.
Traditional asphalt pavement management focuses on ex-ante inspection and ex-ante control. However, such approach is not conducive to identifying the cause of a quality issue incurred during the process concerning raw materials, mixing ratio, mixing process, transportation, paving and rolling, and therefore makes it difficult to implement root cause analysis and corrective actions. In contrast, iPave3.0 enables quality control during the process of cement stabilization and asphalt paving in road works. It provides constructors, builders, and managers with a digital solution for road maintenance and management through full-process, real-time non-destructive quality control, intelligent pre-warning, real-time feedback, dynamic evaluation, and comprehensive inspection.

Project quality, progress and process are fully visualized with real-time, dynamic statistics presented in auto-generated daily reports, weekly reports, and stake numbering and progress data.
Real-time and intelligent
It features real-time process monitoring and intelligent pre-warning by means of rolling counts cloud map, pavement temperature cloud map, 3D view of pavement thickness, and real-time collection and analysis of key data during the process.
Stable and precise
The temperature measurement device, pavement thickness gauge, and positioning device ensure high stability and precision with an accuracy of ±2℃, ±2mm, and ±(10mm+10-6D) in the plane, respectively. The mean time between failure (MTBF) of the device is not less than 1,000 hours.
A dedicated professional team provides technical support and analysis, quantitative evaluation of pavement quality, and guidance on construction techniques throughout the construction process.
